Payment

Pre-session deposits are NOT required, but clients are required to have a credit/debit card on file. Payments are due on the day of service. 

Cancellations/Rescheduling

I ask that you provide 24 hours notice for cancellation. This can be done via text, phone or email. After one freebie, cancellations with less than 24 hours notice given will be charged a $50 cancellation fee.

Fees

Cost per Session

Individual therapy sessions (50 minutes) cost $150. Payment is due the day of service and can be made via credit card, cash, HSA or FSA card.

Sliding Scale

I do offer a limited number of sliding scale spots. Ask for more information.

Insurance

Do I take insurance?

No, I do not currently take insurance. However, I can help you to utilize Out of Network benefits through Thrizer. Thrizer can provide an estimate of what your out of network benefits are and automate payment processes. Learn more about Thrizer here.

What are superbills?

Superbills are kind of like a detailed receipt that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement if you have Out-of-Network benefits. Thrizer helps to automate the process of submitting superbills so there’s less for you to keep track of.

What about Medicaid?

I do not currently accept Medicaid. This also means that I am unable to see Medicaid clients, even if paying out of pocket.

How do I find out about my Out-of-Network benefits?

Contact your insurance company (usually there is a phone number on the back of your insurance card) and ask them if you have out-of-network outpatient mental health coverage. If you have to meet a deductible first, you’ll also want to ask what the deductible is and how much has been met for the year so far. If you want to use your out-of-network benefits, you’ll also want to ask them how to submit the claims for reimbursement.
